Togo girls in action
Verite Sport has supported the Togolese Girls' football club, Amis du Monde for 12 years. The past year has been particularly difficult with several of the girls' parents losing their income due to Covid. We have been able to provide help with medical bills and food for the girls. The good news is that the girls are now fully vaccinated and were recently asked to represent Togo in a tournament in Ivory Coast, with the Togo Football Federation covering their travel and accommodation costs. The team finished third in the tournament.
